What this is

Stop Check Publish is a pre-publishing guidance tool. It reviews a draft social-media post, and optionally the video that goes with it, against a set of rules derived from public platform policies and returns feedback: a Green, Yellow, or Red signal, findings that name their source, and suggested edits.

What it is not

Stop Check Publish provides pre-publish guidance and cannot guarantee how a platform will moderate, recommend, approve, or distribute content.

The service is not legal advice, and it is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, Meta, X, or any other platform. Platform rules change frequently; our rules show the date they were last reviewed, and they may be out of date. Automatic transcription, text recognition, and visual review can miss things or get things wrong.

Your responsibility

You decide what to publish. Suggested edits are suggestions. You are responsible for the content you post, for any disclosures your relationships require, for having the rights to any video you upload, and for complying with the terms of each platform you use.

Plans and video checks

Caption checks are free. Full video checks are limited by plan:

• Free: 3 full video checks per month, videos up to 60 seconds.
• Creator: 30 full video checks per month, up to 5 per day, videos up to 3 minutes.
• Pro: 75 full video checks per month, up to 12 per day, videos up to 5 minutes.

Monthly counts reset on the first day of each month (UTC). Daily counts reset at midnight UTC. Unused checks do not carry over. A check that fails because of our processing is not counted. A check you cancel after processing has started is counted.

Subscriptions (iOS app)

Creator and Pro are auto-renewable monthly subscriptions sold through the Apple App Store. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews automatically each month at the price shown in the app unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID account settings. Refunds are handled by Apple under Apple's policies. Use of the iOS app is also subject to Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/); where these terms are stricter, these terms apply.

Subscriptions are linked to the device that bought them. Restore Purchases in the app moves an active subscription to a new device.

Acceptable use

Do not use the service to help create content that is illegal, that harasses or endangers people, or that is designed to evade platform enforcement for harmful purposes. Do not upload video you do not have the rights to process. We may limit or block access to protect the service.

Availability

The service is provided as is, without warranties of any kind. We may change or discontinue features at any time. If we discontinue a paid plan, we will not charge for periods after the change.

Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Stop Check Publish is not liable for any loss arising from your use of the service, including loss of reach, removed content, or account action taken by a platform.
