Features

Everything a check looks at.

Six things, explained plainly, every time.

Policy Risk

Could this violate the rules?

The rules that get posts removed and accounts restricted: threats, hateful conduct, harassment, adult content, self-harm promotion, dangerous challenges, regulated goods, scams, medical misinformation, and unlicensed media. These are the only things that turn the signal Red.

Example

DM me to buy carts, guaranteed returns on this coin.

What you see

Two red flags: a regulated-goods offer and a financial guarantee. Both quoted, both explained, both removable in one tap.

Distribution Risk

Could it be allowed but not recommended?

The quiet one. Weight-loss promises, engagement bait, clickbait hooks, follow trains, and sensitive topics usually stay up, but platforms keep them out of For You, Explore, Reels, and Feed recommendations. We tell you when a post is about to go follower-only.

Example

Tag 3 friends who need this!

What you see

Engagement bait on Facebook and Instagram. Still allowed; just reaches fewer people. Suggested: ‘Send this to someone who’d like it.’

Disclosure Check

Does this need a label?

Discount codes, affiliate links, gifted products, brand collabs, and AI-generated media each come with an expectation. We spot the signal, check whether a disclosure is already there, and tell you which toggle or hashtag each platform wants.

Example

Thanks to @glowco for sending this. Use my code KIM20.

What you see

Brand partnership plus commercial signal, no #ad. Instagram wants the Paid partnership label; X wants #ad up front.

Claim Verification

Is there a claim worth checking?

Statistics without a source, ‘studies show’, ‘breaking’, election claims. These invite fact-check labels and Community Notes, which cut reach and sit under the post for good. We flag them before someone else does.

Example

Studies show 80% of people are dehydrated.

What you see

Unsourced statistic. Add the source, or soften: ‘From what I’ve read, studies suggest…’

Fix It For Me

Can you just fix the risky part?

Yes, and only that part. Every fix is a span-level rewrite: the flagged words change, everything else stays exactly as you wrote it. You accept or reject each one, see the before and after, and keep your original on hand.

Example

This smoothie will melt belly fat and completely change your health!

What you see

This smoothie is a nutritious option and may support your health goals!

Platform-Specific Guidance

Does TikTok care about the same things as X?

No, so neither do we. A shared core of rules runs under a pack for each platform that adjusts severity, explains the platform’s own consequence, links its policy page, and adds its own rules (character limits, link behaviour, video length, labels).

Example

https://bit.ly/… in a TikTok caption

What you see

TikTok: links are not clickable, use your bio. Both: shortened links read as low-trust to spam filters.
