Common questions
What does a full video check look at?
The caption, the spoken words (transcribed with timestamps), on-screen text and what is shown in a small set of sampled frames, any embedded subtitle track, and the file details (type, size, dimensions, length). Every finding names its source. The result also lists what was and was not analyzed.
Is my video stored?
No. A full check uploads the video to temporary private storage so it can be transcribed, then deletes it the moment the transcript is back. Sampled frames are never stored. Caption-only checks keep the video on your device. Details: [privacy](/privacy).
A step says "could not analyze". Was I charged a check?
No. When a step fails on our side the result still shows everything else, says which source failed and why, and the check is not counted against your plan.
How many checks do I get?
Caption checks are unlimited and free. Full video checks: Free 3 a month (videos up to 60 seconds); Creator 30 a month, up to 5 a day, videos up to 3 minutes; Pro 75 a month, up to 12 a day, videos up to 5 minutes. Counts reset on the first of the month. See [pricing](/pricing).
How do I cancel or restore a subscription?
Creator and Pro are bought in the iOS app through Apple. Manage or cancel them in your Apple ID settings (Settings → your name → Subscriptions). On a new device, open Plans in the app and tap Restore Purchases.
I want my device's check counts deleted.
Open Settings in the app, note the device identifier, and email it to us. We delete the record. The identifier is random and not linked to you in any other way.
The result says my post is fine but the platform limited it anyway.
Our checks are based on public platform policies and automatic analysis, and they can miss things. We do not guarantee how any platform will moderate, recommend, approve, restrict, or distribute content. If you think we missed a rule, tell us and we will review it.
Which platforms are covered?
TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and X. The full rule list, with sources and review dates, is on the [rules](/rules) page.
